Dimension Battle

A Dimension Battle is a battle that takes place every 14 days in every world, once that world has at least 300 players who are level 12 and above.

All worlds fight together in the Dimension Battle.

Participation in the Dimension battle is governed by the following:

Rules
:

  • You must be at least level 12 to participate.
  • Registration for a Dimension battle is possible as soon as the date of the battle has been posted.
  • A horde battle cannot be declared if it is less than 14.5 hours before a DB. You must wait until 30 minutes after the DB to declare a horde battle.
  • The army camp opens 12 hours before the beginning of a DB.
  • You can enter the army camp for the DB and a horde battle at the same time. After the horde battle, you will be sent back to the DB camp.
  • Registration for the DB closes 30 minutes before battle commences.
  • The army camp is closed 15 minutes before the beginning of a DB.
  • If you are not in the army camp, you will be automatically taken there 5 minutes before the DB begins.
  • If you are at work when battle commences, you will be sent to battle and will not receive your pay. If you have completed work, but not collected your wages, you will take your wages into battle with you.
  • If you are plundering or doing a quest, or if you have not collected your booty from a completed quest, the plunder or quest will be terminated and you will get no booty. You will not get your action point back.
  • If you are in the arena, you will be sent to battle, and you will get your arena stake back.
  • If your life energy is over 90% when battle commences the god you have fought for will give you a reward:
  • Participants in a DB receive a reward of amber stones. The amount of stones given depends on your maximum life energy.
  • The participants on the winning side will receive Divine Favor points. The number of points received depends on chance.
  • There is also the chance that some players will receive additional rewards, in the form of Set Items or rune stones. The number of rewards available is the same for each side, and is equal to 20% of the number of participants on the larger side. This means that your chances of a special reward are greater if you fight for the side with less participants. However, whoever has been in a Dimension Battle four times (with at least 90% LP) and not yet received a Set Item or Rune Stone, is guaranteed to get one of the two in the fifth Dimension Battle (as of Jan 26th, 2010). The 5 battles do not need to be fought in a row.

Other Questions:

Q1. Do I have to take part in the DB?

No, participation is completely voluntary.

Q2. Do I fight alone in the DB, or alongside my Horde?

It's every man for himself! The DB has nothing to do with horde battles.

Q3. Why is the timer showing the wrong amount of time left until the DB?

This shows the latest time that the DB will be over. The battle begins one hour before.

Q4. Why did my side lose the DB even though we had more victories?

The amount of victories on each side does not determine who wins the DB. The winning side is the side which still has players standing at the end of the battle.

Example: If one side has 10 warriors, and the other side has 2, the 2 players could defeat 8 of the 10 players on the other side, and still lose if they ended up being completely defeated by the remaining 2 players.

Explanation of the battle report for a Dimension battle

The headings "battle details" and "Heroes of Battle" show all the statistics from the DB.

The heading "Your Battle Balance" shows your victories and defeats, as well as any amber won.
  • Booty - amber stones that you won in the battle
  • Won/Lost - Shows the number of anber stones you won, minus the number of amber stones you lost.
  • Divine amber rewards- the number of amber stones awarded depends on your maximum life energy
  • Divine hero rewards- the number of amber stones awarded depends on your maximum life energy. You only get this if you were a hero of battle.
  • Won/Lost total - is the total number of amber stones won or lost taking into account any divine rewards, and any amber stones won in battle.
  • Divine Favors received - shows you how many Divine Favors you received (only for the winning side)

The heading "Special Divine Rewards" shows the divine rewards, if any, that you have received. The number of rewards available is the same for each side, and is equal to 20% of the number of participants on the larger side. This means that your chances of a special reward are greater if you fight for the side with less participants.
